Midnight

Everyone meet Midnight!

Well.... word has gotten out about our “non working back legs” crew, and this little girl made it our way! She’s 8 weeks old and dragging her back legs. Donovan ran her to Dr. Walden at Whitestone Animal Hospital (who is right down the road from us) and got some x-rays. This time there is no obvious reason (Yay, for no broken spine!), so she did some acupuncture! It was a first time for us to see acupuncture on a cat, but her shelter records showed she has had success with it some so.... why not!

You would think a cat would freak out with needles randomly placed all over her  but Midnight just laid there purring the entire time. It was pretty cool to watch!

We are just waiting and watching at this point! We’ll work on physical therapy and go back in for another treatment if we think it is helping! We now have five different spinal cord/trauma babies with minimal back leg function. Yikes!!

Tax deductible donations are always appreciated, my friends! It’s the “broken” animals that find their way to us to offer hope and healing to the children and families that come to visit. This is because it’s when you are “broken” that you find out what you are actually made of. It gives you the ability to offer hope in a way you could have never understood until now, and build yourself and others up all over again like a brand new start.... but stronger than ever before!

Welcome to family, Midnight!
