Bonnie

Bonnie came to us after I got an email from her original rescuer! She told us Bonnie had just had her leg amputated and she was unable to keep her.   She found her dumped in a barn community hanging out in a horses stall.   It's unknown to us if Bonnie's front leg was injured before she was dumped, if she injured it at the barn, but the vet said her right front leg was completely dead and needed to be amputated.

Just two days after the surgery we made the two hour drive to go pick up our sweet girl.   She recovered from the surgery effortlessly and has been an absolute love since the day she got here!   She has no idea she is missing a leg and jumps, plays, and climbs like a champ.  She is a big fan of snuggles, and lay there while you love on her for hours!   She loves playing hide and seek in our cabinets and is best friends with our other special needs girls Bella and Ivy!

Bonnie is such an ambassador for special visitors that come to us with physical disabilities and we are so happy she is a part of our rescue family!

THANK YOU RESCUE SPONSORS!

All donations are put toward the costs involved in rescuing, rehabilitating, and long term care of the animals.

I have selected Bonnie the cat as an addition to my family.  I have Layah, in the picture I have given, who is a rescue cat that has become my husbands best friend and comfort dealing with his PSTD.  As soon as I arrived home with her, she immediately jumped up into my husbands lap and became his instant companion who he loves dearly for the last 12 years.  I thank the Lord for the difference she has made in his life and I thank you for the love you share with these dear animals such as Bonnie who are under your care and how the wonderful therapy they provide for others including people such as my husband.  God bless you

My great grandparents were Deaf and the language was passed down to me. I went to college after the military, to major in ASL so I could advocate with the deaf community for more appropriate interpreter services in the healthcare setting. My oldest fur baby Coco (begal cat), and I, adopted Catello (white cat) last year. He’s profoundly deaf and our home has transitioned to sign commands to be a fully inclusive safe space for Catello to find his true self through our love.  He tests our every patience, but he also strengthens it.

Thank you for everything you do!

We lost our 19 year old Pepsi (cat) during this horrible year. Everyone misses her so much (especially my nephews), so explained to them that we will sponsor when we can to help look after other animals on her behalf.

Hi

I've decided to sponsor Bonnie. This evening my rescue fur baby Lili gained her wings aged only 6yrs. We only found out she had cancer in November and my heart is shattered. I thought watching some wholesome fab five might help me feel better and saw yourselves on it. So in memory of my Lili I want to help Bonnie. Thank you for all you do for the animals x
