These girls are all Plymoth Rock Barred American chickens.   We have five of these girls.   Two came from the Leander feed store, and three were rescued with our big flock of 15.   We can not tell these girls apart to save our lives, so we pretty much call all of them Ashley!   The only girl we can tell apart from all the others is “Biting Becky”!   If you get your fingers too close to her, you’ll definitely figure out who she is!   We don’t think Becky is being mean, we just think she’s a girl who knows what she wants—and what she wants is for you to give her more chicken food or else!
