Meet Polly and Sonny

 

 

These two new exotic birds joined our rescue family, Polly and Sonny, who came from a loving home that just wasn’t able to care for them the way they deserved anymore after their original owners passed away. 

​

They join our Macaw Pebo in the exotics building and have quickly become friends. 

They are all so happy together and you can’t walk past our small exotics building without hearing them talking and playing.

Polly is a Sun Conure and Sonny is a Amazon parrot. Sonny suffers from anxiety that makes her pluck her feathers. Since becoming friends with Pebo we have seen less feather plucking and are hopeful that she is stress free soon.
