Nugget came to us weighing just under 2 pounds, covered in fleas, as the runt of the litter.

Josephine weighed just a a pound and half when she was handed to us in a grocery store parking lot in need of love at a time when we had lots of broken hearts that had love ready to pour out.

Nugget had a hole in her skull that took almost an e tire year to close, then blood tests showed warning signs of Addison’s disease and while we waited for health clearing she made it known this was her forever home.


All donations are put toward the costs involved in rescuing, rehabilitating, and long term care of the animals.
