The Rescue League -- Every Superhero Has An Origin Story

Every animal at Safe in Austin has an origin story — a before, a hard chapter, a moment that could have been the end but wasn't. And every superhero does too. The thing is, the hardest part of the origin story is usually what creates the power. The sensitivity. The way you notice what others miss. The fact that you feel everything more deeply than the people around you seem to. This camp is built on one belief: the world calls some of those things disabilities. We call them superpowers. The Rescue League doesn't need you to be the fastest or the loudest or the most confident. It needs you to be exactly, specifically, irreplaceably you.
