The story is there was an accidentally potbelly pig litter. There are ten piglets and the family is overwhelmed, stressed, and not financially able to take on the needs of this piggy family. This unfortunately happens a lot.

When I reached out the response I got was not “I just need them gone” like most of the time here in Texas, it was “I’ll do whatever I can to get them to you so they will be safe”.

And that, my friends, is the very second I knew Safe in Austin was going to help!

Most of the piglets we were able to find homes for except  Olive. They quickly made it know that they had joined our other potbelly's as family and would be staying here forever.
