Midnight

We welcomed Midnight to the family at 8 weeks old. This little girl came to us dragging her back legs. We ran her to one of our trusted vets who is right down the road from us and got some x-rays. This time there was no obvious reason, so she did some acupuncture! Yay for no broken spine! It was a first time for us to see acupuncture on a cat, but her shelter records showed she has had success with it some so.... why not!

You would think a cat would freak out with needles randomly placed all over her  but Midnight just laid there purring the entire time. It was pretty cool to watch!

We are just waiting and watching at this point! We’ll work on physical therapy and go back in for another treatment if we think it is helping! We now have five different spinal cord/trauma babies with minimal back leg function. Yikes!!
